Recon Deep Jungle

Luxord stepped through the corridor to Deep Jungle. The first thing he did was swat a mosquito and stretch "Ahhh....it feels great to be back in the field of duty" he looked back into the corridor waiting for his companion, Sayuri, to appear from it

Sayuri walked into the Deep Jungle after Luxord. She looked around and waited for Luxord to tell her what she needed to do.

"We are here on recon, a interesting game of seeking anything susspicious or give us insight on who or what may reside on this world" He swept a hand around the tree covered area, with long grass and undergrowth

"Okay so just be on the look out for anything that isn't even supposed to be here? she said looking at the trees. She wondered what kind or things or people lived in the Deep Jungle. Since it was her first time there she didn't know what to expect.

Luxord nodded "That, or anything that suggests who or what may live here" He looked around then up a bit. He squinted his eyes a little and pointed "Such as houses in trees"

Sayuri looked up at the trees. She tried to image what kind of people lived in the houses in those trees. She looked back at Luxord and nodded. Without saying anything or waiting for him to say anything, she jumped toward the trees and looked in one of the houses. Hmm... looks like no one's home.. she thought looking at the weapons on the side.Judging from those weapons the people that live here must be hunters...

Luxord stood on a large floating card and helped Sayuri onto it. Then they both flew up to the tree house "Not a very lively and homely place thats for sure, but lets take a closer look at this playing field shall we?" He then stepped off and onto what appeared to be a balcony

"Okay"she said following him onto the balcony and walking toward the house. She walked at a distance of Luxord, not wanting to get in the way. She looked into the houses as they walked past them. "Why aren't there any people in here?"she asked out loud. She looked at Luxord to see if he had heard what she said.

He looked at her "This wouldn't be a recon game if I knew it allready" He waved his hand around gesturing the raggedy house, which seemed to be in pretty bad shape "Questions of the game can often be figured out by observing the board"

Sayuri watched Luxord and said nothing. She understood what he meant and she began to examine the house in front of her. It was also in bad shape like the one Luxord was at. She wondered what happened that made it look like that. She looked around for signs of a fight, that would be a reason why the houses looked the way they did.

Luxord hummed quietly while following her, and make sure she wouldn't get into any trouble. He followed her into a house, and a very close by roar. Then time seemed to slow for Luxord as a leapord leaped through a window and at Sayuri. His reflexes kicked in as he pushed her out of the way and got his reward of a torn up chest. He bit bat the cry of pain and staggered slightly

Sayuri fell to the floor hard. She looked up and saw that the leopard had injured Luxord. "Oh my god... are you okay, Luxord?" she asked him jumping in front of the leopard and summoning her keyblade. She looked back at him once more and then turned to face the leopard. But instead of using her keyblade to harm the animal, she just used her magic and threw a fire ball at it. She wanted to save her keyblade for the heartless, and found it pointless to use the keyblade on a simple animal. The leopard jumped out of the way of the fire and leaped at her. She used her keyblade to block the attack and push it down to the floor. She didn't want to kill it but if she had to she would.

Luxord caught himself as the Leapord pushed her off it. It tried to rake her but he managed to block it with a large card, then sliced it's shoulders in a sweeping motion of his cards. The creature howled then fled out a window. Luxord, dropped to a knee and held himself off the floor with one hand "I'm ok, i've taken worse and come back to the game" He took out a potion and drank it, then stood up

"Okay" she said as her keyblade disappeared. She walked toward him looking around as she did so. The inside of the house was now in an even worse condition than it was before. She looked at Luxord who had gotten up again. "So... now do we move onto another house or should we stay here and examine this house more?" she asked walking toward the weapons to the side.

He glanced around, this one seemed...different from the others somehow "I propose linger in this one a spell longer, theres...something different about this one" He looked out the window the giant cat leaped out of, this house was higher up than the rest and had more items too

Sayuri nodded and went back to examining the weapons. "You're right. This house is really different than the others. I think it's the house of someone important..." she said still looking at the weapons."I mean why else would there be more things in here than in the other houses... and why would this house be higher than the rest. That's usually only when it's for someone important." she added now standing up and walking to the wall.

He looked under some cloth, modern paper "Ah, our little seeker is collecting the bigger picture by the minute" he looked a more modern section of the house and scratched his chin

Sayuri didn't really pay attention to what Luxord said, she was paying more attention to what she would on the wall. "Hey, what do you make of this? It's like some writing on here." she said putting her hand on the writing. She looked at the writing for a while but couldn't make out what it said.

He turned and looked at what she feeling with her fingers on the wall. He crossed his arms over his chest and studied them writing "It would seem that these"he pointed at some small lines "Are like a calender, for the days that passed, it seems whoever resided here had been here for quite a long time" out of the corner of his eye he spotted a desk "Go check that table over yonder, there might be more clues here...and my hypothesis is that this isn't a tribal house"

"Alright." she said and she walked to the desk. There wasn't much on it but she figured there were a lot of important things inside of the desk since it had a small lock on the desk drawer. She tried to get it open but it wouldn't budge. Out of frustration she took out her keyblade and hit the lock until it broke off. Not what she would usually do but at least the drawer was now open. She peered inside and found a whole mess of papers. They seemed to be from a long time ago. "Hey Luxord.. are these of any help?" she asked walking toward him, looking at the papers.

He looked over and took one of the papers. "it appears our friend has a stronger brain than a primitive, for these" he shook the paper he was holding "Is a journal entry, and thus reveals that this human I would guess had logged his days here, and it didn't end well for certain" he spied dried blood on the page beneath the pile

"So this person kept a sort of diary?" she asked. It was helpful for the person to keep journal entries since that helps her and Luxord in figuring out what happened to the houses and the people who lived there. She turned the pile of papers around and she saw the dried blood on the paper. She was not surprised to see the blood there, since it was human blood she assumed an animal attacked the person, but she wasn't sure.

Luxord gently took out the last page and read it "Our human friend had a run in with our not so friendly feline attacker, he had a family here and a son" he set the paper on the desk "So Sayuri, whats your analysis on this place so far?" Luxord had his own theories but wanted to hear hers instead

Sayuri looked at the house one more time then looked at Luxord. "Well, first it seemed that not long ago there were many people inhabited this place. Then by the by how the houses look and because of the leopard i assume that the people who lived here were driven out of killed by a pack of leopards. And i say a pack because there is no way one leopard alone could cause all this damage." she said looking at the papers on the desk. "It also appears that the some of the people fought the leopards but most of them gave up easily." she added looking at the blood stained paper.

"That, or there is something different about that one Lepoard... and that there weren't any survivors at all" he though he spotted a pair of yellow eyes but figured he was imagining it
